Wastewater- South Treatment Plant Odor Control System

Based on prior year study’s recommendation to design and construct a full scale odor control system at the city’s South Wastewater Treatment Plant (SWWTP). The project includes replacing the existing cover plate system over the headworks process and drawing odorous air through a bio-scrubber with an activated carbon polisher.
To effectively reduce odors and eliminate odor complaints from the nearby residential community.In FY21 an assessment and PER were completed for a new odor control system at the SWWTP.
